Exporting your contacts

Take your contacts out of Covve as a spreadsheet, everything you've captured, or just the ones you pick.

Last updated on 31 Aug, 2026

Export everything

Go to SettingsExport all cards.

Export a selection

Better after an event, when you only want that week's contacts.

  1. On your contact list, long-press a contact, or tap Select.

  2. Pick the ones you want. Select all takes the lot.

  3. Tap Export cards.

Filter first, then select. Narrow the list to a group or a date range before you start selecting, and you can tap Select all rather than picking through hundreds of contacts. See Organizing your contacts.

Choose a format

Either route opens the same Export sheet:

Option

Use it for

Excel

A spreadsheet you'll open and work in

CSV

Importing into another system

Gmail

A CSV laid out for Google Contacts import

Outlook (Online)

A CSV laid out for Outlook import

Gmail and Outlook (Online) are column layouts, not delivery methods, they produce a file shaped for that system, they don't email anything for you.

If you haven't connected a CRM, an Integrations option also appears, pointing you at setting one up.

Getting the file

Covve creates the file and hands it to your phone's share sheet, so you choose where it goes, email it to yourself, drop it in cloud storage, or send it to a colleague. CSV files are named by date, like 20260812_CovveCardExport.csv.

FAQ

Can I export just one group?

Yes. Filter to that group, tap Select, then Select all, then export.

Does exporting remove anything from Covve?

No. It's a copy.

Can I export as vCard?

Not from the export sheet. For a single contact, use Share contact, which produces a vCard. See Sharing a contact.

Do my notes come with the export?

Not confirmed. Check an export before relying on it if your notes matter.

Is there a way to email the export to myself directly?

Not as its own option, pick your mail app from the share sheet.
