Manage your trial and subscription

Cancelling a trial and cancelling a subscription work the same way, and both depend on where you signed up rather than on anything inside Covve.

Last updated on 24 Sept, 2026

Covve can't cancel it for you from inside the app. Your billing lives with whoever took the payment, Apple, Google, or Covve directly. That's where it has to be cancelled.

Where you signed up decides where you cancel

Where you subscribed

Where to cancel

On an iPhone or iPad

Your App Store subscriptions, in your device settings

On an Android phone

Your Google Play subscriptions

Through Covve Website directly

Email support@covve.com

If you're not sure which applies, check whether the charge appears on your Apple or Google receipt. If it doesn't, it's the third case.

Cancel a trial before it converts

A trial converts automatically unless you cancel it. Cancelling still leaves you the rest of the trial period, you don't lose access the moment you cancel.

Use the same route as your subscription above.

Request a refund

Ask the store

  • Apple: request it through Apple's own refund request page at reportaproblem.apple.com, or from Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on the device.

  • Google: open Play Store → Menu → Order history, find the charge, and request a refund there.

There's no faster route through Covve for a store purchase. Covve doesn't hold that payment and can't authorise a refund on it either way.

Cancel or change a subscription

Same routes. Access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.

If you subscribed through Covve directly, email support@covve.com and you'll get a confirmation once it's processed. That route isn't self-service.

Deleting the app doesn't cancel anything

Removing Covve from your phone stops nothing. The subscription is held by the app store, not by the app, and it keeps renewing.

The same goes the other way: deleting your Covve account is not how you cancel, and it loses your contacts. If you want to stop paying but keep what you've captured, cancel the subscription and keep your account. See Delete your account and data.

Changed phone and lost your subscription?

You haven't. Signing into Covve restores your contacts; it doesn't restore a purchase. Open the upgrade screen and tap Restore purchases, using the same app store account you bought it with. See Backing up and restoring your contacts.
