Leaving a team, or removing someone

Whether you're leaving a team yourself or removing somebody from one, the leads stay. Neither action takes captured contacts with it.

Leave a team yourself

You don't need an admin to do this.

1
Open the menu at the top left of your home screen.

2
Select Your team

3
Open the ⋮ menu and select Leave team

Afterwards:

  • You stop seeing team cards.

  • You keep every card you scanned.

  • New scans stop being shared with the team.

  • Anything you already shared stays visible to the team. Leaving doesn't withdraw it.

If you own the team, the menu offers Delete team instead of Leave team. See Managing your team.

What admins keep

Leads captured by a member who has been removed remain visible to admins.

What the person keeps

They keep everything they scanned. When someone leaves or is removed:

  • The team's cards are removed from their app. They lose access to what everyone else captured.

  • Their own cards stay with them, everything they scanned, whether or not they shared it with the team.

So it's a clean split rather than a handover: the team keeps the team's view, the person keeps their own.

If someone edits or deletes a shared card

Sharing means the card is genuinely shared, and edits travel in both directions:

What happens

Result

A teammate edits a card you shared

The edit reaches everyone, including your own copy

A teammate deletes a card you shared

It leaves the team, but you keep your copy

You edit a card you shared

The edit applies to your copy and to the team's

You delete a card you shared

It's removed from your cards and stops being shared

An edit by a teammate also changes the owner's own copy.
