Covve Scan connects directly to Google Contacts and Outlook. You don't need Zapier. They come with paid plans (Essential, Pro and Enterprise), and you don't need the CRM add-on. See covve.com/pricing for what each plan includes.
Connect
Update Covve Scan to the latest version (Google Contacts needs version 14.8 or later).
Sign in to your Covve account. If you aren't signed in, the app asks you to create an account or log in first. See Create an account and sign in.
Tap the Menu tab at the bottom right of the screen, then Integrations.
Tap Google Contacts, or Outlook365 for Outlook (or tap Connect next to it).
A sign-in page opens. Sign in with the account you want your contacts saved to, and allow access when asked.
You're taken back to Covve Scan, and a message says the integration was successfully enabled. The integration now shows Connected, with your name and email.
Asked to upgrade when you tap Connect? Your plan doesn't include this integration. See covve.com/pricing.
Don't see Google Contacts or Outlook365 in the list? Update Covve Scan to the latest version, then check again.
Says "Missing permissions"? Covve Scan doesn't have all the access it needs. Tap the three-dot Integration options button, tap Sign out, then connect again and allow all the access it asks for.
Says "Failed"? Try again. If it keeps failing, contact us from Help & Support, or email support@covve.com.
Send a contact
Once you're connected, you send each contact yourself:
Open the scanned contact.
Tap the … (More actions) button at the bottom right of the screen.
Tap Send to Google Contacts or Send to Outlook365. A short message such as Sent to Google Contacts confirms it.
Each contact can be sent once. After you send it, Send to no longer shows on that contact. If it doesn't show on a contact you haven't sent, check that the integration says Connected in Menu → Integrations.
The Auto export new leads to CRM setting in Settings doesn't apply to Google Contacts or Outlook, so new scans aren't sent automatically. Send each contact as shown above.
If sending fails, the app says Failed to send and gives the reason. Try again, or contact us.
Check it's working
Scan a new card and send it.
Sign in to that account on the web (contacts.google.com or outlook.com) and look for the contact.
It's on the web but not on your laptop or phone? That app hasn't synced yet. Check its sync settings.
Stop sending contacts
Tap the Menu tab, then Integrations, then Google Contacts or Outlook365. Tap the three-dot Integration options button, then Sign out, and confirm.
Just want a few contacts on your phone?
Open each contact, tap … (More actions), then Save to phone. They go to your phone's default contacts account. See Save a scanned card to your phone's contacts.
Prefer Zapier?
Zapier can send your scans to many apps, including Google Contacts. See Zapier integration.
