Share your digital business card

Every way to get your card in front of someone, and what happens after they have it.

Last updated on 31 Aug, 2026

In person

Show your QR code and let them scan it with their phone camera. They don't need Covve installed, the code opens your profile in their browser.

If you have a physical Covve card, its QR does the same thing.

From anywhere

Share the card as a link, in a message, an email, or anywhere else you'd send a URL. Covve hands it to your phone's share sheet, so use whichever app you normally would.

To a contact you've just captured

After you scan someone, Covve offers to send them your card back. The option is Share my card, you pick the Recipient and can add a short personal note.

It's a light way to make the exchange mutual, and it means they have your current details rather than a paper card that goes out of date.

To several people at once

Select multiple contacts on your list and choose Send your card. Useful after an event, when you've captured twenty people and want them all to have your details.

What they can do next

Once someone opens your profile, they can send you their details from it, which lands as a lead in your Covve. That's the part people forget exists, sharing your card isn't only outbound. See Leads via business cards.

FAQ

Does the recipient need Covve?

No. Your profile opens in any browser.

What if my details change after I've shared it?

The QR points at your profile, so anyone who scans it later sees the current version. Nothing to reshare.

Is "Share my card" the same as "Share contact"?

No. Share my card sends yours. Share contact sends theirs to someone else, see Sharing a contact.
